The facility produces blocks of ice and tubes of ice, in entirely separate production environments, with the whole facility constantly monitored by CCTV. The water used, is potable municipal water, passed through an elaborated water treatment system.
The packaging of tube ice varies from retail bags, weighing 4kg (8.8Lbs), to 18-20kg bulk bags (40-44Lbs). The retail bags / bulk bags are wrapped in pallets, depending on the customer’s requirement. These pallets are clearly marked with serial number, the production and shift codes, which create an accurate traceability feature, thus avoiding misplacement of any products and ensuring swift, FIFO basis deliveries.
Blocks of ice can be sold as it is, an individual bagged block, or crushed in a bag, weighing 20kg (44Lbs) depends on customers’ requirements.
We have an efficient recall system in place, with a half hourly production wise traceability feature for our large customer base in Kuwait. Our customer base includes international clients and military bases. Our well-established Food Defence Procedure eliminates the risk of product tampering and sabotage.
