Dalla Ice Factory was established in 2004, and currently operates in an area of 1850 Sq.M. The factory operates cutting edge technology, eliminating manual handling of the products, which prevents the dangers of cross-contamination. We produce ice in an extremely hygienic manner, with the Quality and Technical team constantly monitoring the sanitary conditions, safety conditions and the handling of the ice, to ensure the standard of the product is the highest, in keeping with the ethos and professionalism of Dalla Ice Factory.
The entire production line is complies with:
• HACCP regulations
• IAW MIL STD 3006C- Appendix G & A norms.
• The Food Defence Program- Appendix Y
• The Kuwait EPA Standard
Our facility was approved by the United States Army ( VC # : KU-0060) in accordance with the Military Standard 3006 C on the 20th of July, 2004.
Since then, the United States Army auditors carry out sanitation audits bi-annually to continue listing Dalla Ice Factory in the Directory of Sanitary Approved Food Establishments (SAFE) for Armed Forces procurement. Our facility is unique in the Middle East, in that we have been listed in the SAFE directory for the last 14 years, since our company was founded.
Moreover, we are the only ice factory in Kuwait authorized by the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) Since the 4th of April, 2016, the ministry has been carrying out checks of the source water and the product water, every 2 months, to ensure the quality of the product.
A large fleet of modern, refrigerated vehicles are owned by the factory, and used for distribution, thus ensuring a swift, hygienic and safe delivery of the product. Alternatively, customers may use their own vehicles to collect and distribute the ice, however we carry out a thorough check beforehand, to determine if the vehicle meets our hygienic requirements and standards of cleanliness, that we insist upon for the safe, contamination-free delivery of our product.
